The purpose of Wheelchair Bodybuilding, Inc. is to provide and support experiences through activities that are open to any child, adult, or veteran with a disability, with the hope of providing both physical and psychological therapeutic value to that person.
Wheelchair Bodybuilding, Inc. hopes to instill a “can-do” spirit in all of its participants by giving them the confidence and independence they need to face their own life challenges and overcome barriers that might have previously seemed insurmountable.
Through the experiences that Wheelchair Bodybuilding, Inc. supports, provides, and guides, children and adults with disabilities become wheelchair athletes and adaptive athletes. The ultimate goal is to give each disabled athlete an opportunity to be in front of fans! Hearing the screams and cheers of the crowd will echo long in their minds after the day has passed.
