Nick Scott is a multi-talented athlete, spokesmodel, and fitness model who is sponsored by various companies. He represents his sponsors around the world and also participates in different types of tradeshows. At one such event, the 2009 Arnold Sports Festival, Nick had the good fortune of meeting Aubree Marchione, an expert in wheelchair ballroom dancing. In May of the same year, Nick and Aubree teamed up to compete in wheelchair ballroom dancing, and went on to become the Atlantic Coast Champions and the Heart of America Champions. They soon became the undefeated number one wheelchair ballroom dance couple in the United States.
Exactly one year after they met, Nick and Aubree were selected as one of six couples in the world to perform live at the 2010 Arnold Sports Festival for Arnold Schwarzenegger. Nick and Aubree created history by becoming the first couple to represent the U.S. at the World IPC Wheelchair Dance Sport Championships in Hanover, Germany.

In 2006, Nick launched a website to train others and offer a range of programs. He is also the only trainer in the world to have developed workouts specifically for individuals with disabilities. Most trainers turn down those in wheelchairs due to fear of causing injury or lack of expertise in dealing with people in wheelchairs. However, for Nick, living with a wheelchair every day has taught him to accept and excel at it, and he embraces the opportunity to help others with disabilities improve their fitness and wellbeing.
Nick Scott founded Wheelchair Bodybuilding, Inc. (WCBB) in May 2006 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the goal of raising funds to enhance opportunities for wheelchair athletes and adaptive athletes.
Despite being confined to a wheelchair himself, Nick dedicated most of his adult life to advocating for wheelchair bodybuilding. His persistence paid off when he obtained authorization to host the inaugural International Federation of Body Building (IFBB) Pro Wheelchair Bodybuilding competition in 2008 after almost three years of planning. In 2011, Scott successfully organized the first IFBB Pro Wheelchair Championships, held on October 15th of that year in Houston, TX, as part of the IFBB Houston Pro event. The impact of that historic night resonated globally.
The acknowledgement meant that professional wheelchair bodybuilders would now be recognized and granted IFBB Professional Status, allowing them to earn their coveted IFBB Pro Card – the pinnacle of achievement for any bodybuilder. This achievement is a goal for all professional bodybuilders striving to advance their careers. Through Nick’s unwavering dedication and persistence, he accomplished something unprecedented – uniting a professional sport with a disability sport on the same platform.
For over a decade, Nick Scott worked towards his goal, and in 2016, the IFBB Professional League Pro Wheelchair Division was included in the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio, USA. Thirteen years later, on September 15th, 2018, the IFBB Professional League Pro Wheelchair Division was also included in the Olympia Weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Competing on the stages of the Arnold Classic and the Olympia is the ultimate aspiration for any fitness industry athlete, and Nick Scott made this dream come true for countless athletes.
