Throughout my entire life i have been heavily involved in sports in particular swimming. I was ranked in the top 5 swimmers in New Zealand throughout all my teen years. I have always believed that with hard work comes the reward and since having my accident which put me in a wheelchair i have made goals that i am working to achieve. I have always enjoyed watching bodybuilding and training but never made a decision to compete until after my accident. I plan to become the first IFBB pro wheelchair athlete from New Zealand.
Whilst swimming at a water fall with family i decided to jump from the waterfall. Upon hitting the water my T12 vertebra was compressed and i lost all feeling from waist down becoming paralyzed.
I enjoy training and the feeling of achieving goals.
I wanted to see how far i can push my body
Just the love of training and the feeling of normality, being in a wheelchair now things are different but when i train i feel normal.
My wife
Don't wait for the perfect day, you make the day perfect.
